12 Week Easy Marketing Plan

This is an easy and cheap marketing plan that utilises your natural talents and I promise won't cost you much money.

1.  Sit down and write a list of everyone you know and see if you can come up with 100 people.  Do not qualify how well you know them.  Just as long as you can send a letter to each person telling them what you do, what the benefits are to the reader to use your services and offering an incentive to contact you, such as free reports, an ebook, or a special gift.  Send the letter to each person.

2.  Call each person up!  Re-establish contact if need be and get permission to send a monthly newsletter.  

Every time you see your friends, family, clients or customers, are you remembering to ask who they know who may need your help, because you do xyz which could help them?

3.  Attend a networking event and meet 6 people.  Aim to meet people who are not in the same business as you, and could be useful alliances or customers, or sources of customer referrals.  Send out notes of appreciation and "great to meet you" cards after each event.

4. Prepare your Monthly Newsletter and send it to everyone you've met, plus your hundred people.

5.  Attend a networking event and meet 6 new people... Follow up.

6.  Prepare a seminar for 3 weeks time on a subject of interest to your potential clients and clients.  Book a venue, and organise your advertising to commence next week.  Newspaper advertisements, email lists, letterbox drops.

This week, go and introduce yourself to all the local business owners in your area.  Take note of special interest areas that you have in common, or that you could be of help to him or her.

7.   Send all those business owners a "Great to meet you" card.  Include helpful info you have come across on the special interest areas.

Attend a networking event and meet 6 new people... Follow up.

Fine tune your seminar. Check on bookings.  You have remembered to invite your 100 people and all those networking people and all those business owners, haven't you?

8.  Call those business owners up, especially the ones you clicked with, and invite for a coffee.

Write your newsletter and email it out!

9.  Hold your seminar and hold your head up high!  Provide lots of reasons for participants to have a personal meeting with you and follow up everyone who attended, and everyone who didn't.

Attend a networking event and meet 6 new people..  Follow up!

10. Call up business owners and get together with a couple for a coffee.  Look for synergy - which business owners can you form a group with and cross refer to each other?

11.  Be involved in your community - sponsor a club, mentor someone or join a volunteer organisation.  Your self-satisfaction is your reward and may bring extra business to you.

Attend a Networking event and meet 6 new people and follow up.

12.  Newsletter time again!  It comes around quickly each month, so prepare it on the 20th and get it out on time for the first of the month.

Cost of the above for three months?  Work it out for yourself, it's dirt cheap.  Keep recycling this plan for great results and track your efforts so that you know what is most effective for you.
