4 Secrets to Advertising Success

Hi there!

As usual, a busy fortnight has just gone past, and the most I can remember is that we held our Persuasive Selling Seminar (read some feedback below) and it was Dennis' birthday on the 1st of March and of course he turned 21 (Note from Dennis - Narelle likes me young!)

Over the past few months we have come up with some new Biz Builder Programmes suited to other service industries such as Financial Planners, Mortgage Brokers, Health and Wellness Sector, Beauty and Hairdressing and so on, complete with reports suited to those industries, postcards, letters, and of course, the usual impressive array of tools - there's roughly 70 to each programme.

As well, I finally beat Dennis round the head (just joking) and got him to realise that 3 months or 14 weeks is too short a time or the programme is too big to complete in that time frame, so Programmes are now covering 12 months, with Coaching sessions twice a month.

What else?

Yes, we do offer a 12 month Training Programme for Sales and Marketing, for Real Estate and other industries, and we are offering Teleconferences on Marketing throughout March. (If you're the owner of the business and you would like Business Coaching with that, that's simple to organise for you.)

Alright then, onto your feature article. Sorry to have taken so much time, but it was important for you to know the future direction we are heading for 2 reasons:

4 Secrets to Advertising Success

Isn't it a funny thing that there are some ads that you absolutely love and some ads that you absolutely hate? Either way you don't forget them.

Then there are ads that are forgettable.

And then there are those ads that make you act, that make you pick up the phone or go to the shop and make the purchase.

Wouldn't you love your ads to fall into that last category?

By following these Simple Secrets to Advertising Success, especially for newspapers and Yellow Pages, you will be well on the way to creating memorable and powerful ads that work.

  1. The simple little trick that can increase your ad responses by 200 to 300%

    You only have a short window of a buyer or seller's attention when they read your ad. So, you want to make the message loud, clear and very simple to understand, by focussing on one thing. Using too many words in your ad means that people lose interest.

  2. Simple changes to your ads that increase responses by 30%

    The single goal of your ad is to get your prospective buyers to respond - in the way that you want them to! The secret here is to decide what you really want your buyers to do - and give them very clear instructions as to how to do it. For example, call or email now. Make sure your contact method is big enough to read easily. and it can be very embarrassing when you forget to put the contact on!
  3. Your Business Name Does not Sell

    Your ad is all about telling your prospective Clients what's in it for them. Believe it or not, your business name (or, shock horror, your name) is not as important as the benefit of your offer.

    So make your offer big and at the top of your ad - and put your business name down the bottom.
  4. Unbeatable offers that get clients calling you

    There are many services you provide to your Clients that you may not value, because you do them routinely every day.

    When you put a $$ value on those services and mention the total value of your offer when you promote your services, your prospective Clients will perceive that they are getting much more from you than your competitors.
